Creating A New Project

Hit the Add Project button or choose Add from the Projects menu. A window will appear where information on the project is entered.

The only required field is the project name. This is the name that will appear in the project list, as well as on any generated reports.

The hidden checkbox indicates that the project will be hidden from the project list. Hide old projects to keep the project list uncluttered, but still keep the logged hours.

The include in reports checkbox indicates that the project should be included in generated reports. This is useful if you track coffee breaks, but don't want them to appear in your reports.

Billing information is used when generating invoices. You can enter an hourly rate, or a flat rate for the entire project.

You can also track time spent on specific tasks within a project, such as meetings, designing or programming.
